Skullcandy has revealed three new gaming headsets: the PLYR, SLYR Pro, and SLYR. Features highlighted by the press release include “immersive audio,” “crystal-clear communications,” and “all-day comfort,” but the added flair from the color accents is also noteworthy, taking a different route from competitors that try to blend in rather than stand out.
When it comes to color choices, the SLYR and SLYR Pro come in Black DigiHype, Green DigiHype, and Blue DigiHype, while the PLYR just comes in Black DigiHype.
It will be interesting to see how the flagship PLYR stacks up against the (much more expensive) Arctis Nova Pro Wireless from SteelSeries, as well as the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2.
