Jabra is the best option if you’re seeking headphones that blend style and sound quality. This well-known manufacturer offers a wide selection of headsets, from fashionable noise-canceling headphones to sporty earbuds. Everything you could possibly need in Bluetooth earbuds is offered by Jabra.
Thanks to the seamless Bluetooth pairing procedure, large, accessible controls, and outstanding sound quality right out of the box, these earbuds are easier to set up and use than most rivals. Models from the brand are compatible with both Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth phones. Jabra is a well-known, dependable leader in the sector, renowned for its premium goods and top-notch customer support. Below, we have mentioned best Jabra earbuds.
The Jabra Elite 3 is fairly well balanced. The bass could be a bit more powerful in places, which was noticeable on Foo Fighters’ All My Life and Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, although the sound distorts slightly at higher volumes. In terms of detail and sharpness, however, we were quite satisfied. These might not be earbuds that will blow your mind or see your favorite music in a whole new light, but we wouldn’t expect that at this price point.
While the soundstage could be wider and more impressive, you’ll notice some rich bass and high mids on something memorable like David Bowie’s Under Pressure. Actually, it’s just the bass that makes you want a little more drive and energy. Turning on the bass preset via the Jabra app helps a bit here, but enthusiasts will sorely miss being able to adjust the equalizer themselves.
The Jabra Elite 7 Active are well-built sports headphones with a stable fit and an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. They behave similarly to the Jabra Elite 7 Pro True Wireless but have poorer microphone pickup quality. Jabra also touts that they’re made from a proprietary material called “ShakeGrip,” which gives them a more stable fit.
This gives them a similarly stable fit as the 7 Pro and most other non-ShakeGrip Jabra earbuds we’ve tested. You can adjust the slightly bass-heavy sound profile in the accompanying app. You can also use the app to remap most controls and customize features like the auto-off timer. While their active noise-cancellation (ANC) feature isn’t very effective, they do a good job of isolating you from noise-like background conversations at the gym.
The Jabra Elite Active 65t headphones are reasonably comfortable, but after a while they can become tiring to wear. Although they have three sets of gel pads to better fit the shape of your ears, they are still quite bulky. If you are looking for thinner earbuds, the Jabra Elite Active 75t Truly Wireless headphones are more compact and comfortable while still maintaining a secure fit.
The button layout is the same as the Jabra Elite 65t Truly Wireless, with two main buttons on each earpiece. The left earpiece controls volume and track skipping with a rocker button. Pressing either side of the rocker button raises or lowers the volume, while holding the button down allows you to skip or rewind tracks. The right earpiece can play or pause media and answer calls with one touch.
The Jabra Elite 7 Pro True Wireless are Bluetooth headsets with a very neutral sound profile. They have a great app with customization options for sound and active noise cancellation (ANC) functionality, and you can remap all controls on each earbud separately. Unfortunately, there is no audible difference in the amount of ambient noise perceived when ANC is on or off.
However, the design of the earbuds allows a fair amount of noise to be blocked out. It is convenient to be able to use one earbud at a time while the other is charging in the case. The controls are great and the buttons on each earbud are very responsive. You can access many different functions and hear feedback when a command is recorded. There is also voice guidance when the earbuds enter pairing mode.
Jabra is not a company that shies away from innovation. In most cases, the Danish audio brand is the first to hit the market with innovative in-ear headphone designs, pioneering more compact form factors while maintaining the great sound quality the company is known for. Luckily, the same goes for the all-new Elite 85t earbuds. As the name suggests, they follow in the footsteps of Jabra’s last version, the Elite Active 75t, with a very similar design.
The main difference here, however, is that they’re not geared towards sports (although thanks to IPX4 water resistance, they’re still tough enough to be used for low-impact fitness). Instead, these buds focus on enhancing the audio experience and feature ANC that blocks all loud and irritating noises in your external environment. the booming rattle of a subway or the dull hum of an airplane engine. But more on the ANC experiences later.
It is a versatile pair of truly wireless in-ears that are a good upgrade from the popular Jabra Elite Active 65t Truly Wireless. They have a similarly well-built design, although the Elite 75it’s earbuds are noticeably smaller, making them more comfortable. Their smaller body also offers about three extra charges, giving them around 27 hours of uninterrupted battery life.
They have active noise-canceling (ANC) functionality thanks to a firmware upgrade, but it’s not a huge improvement over their passive noise-isolating abilities. They also deliver boomier bass than previous models. It’s a smaller version of the Jabra Elite Active 65t True Wireless, without the small stem pointing down from your ear. Each bud has a round, flat outer surface and they don’t stick out too far from your ears. However, they have an all-black color scheme and are not available in other colors.
The Elite Sport earbuds are quite chunky but not too heavy. Size is only really an issue if you have fairly small ears. Everyone’s ears vary greatly in size and shape, and wireless earbuds need to fit really well in order not only to fit but to sound great too. That’s a lot of combinations, so you should be able to find the right formula. Designed for sports, the headphones have an IP67 rating, which means they’re dustproof and waterproof to a meter, so you don’t have to worry about them too much.
It also means you can wipe or wash them. Each earbud has two buttons, the left one for volume and track skip, and the right one for other things like play/pause and toggle. That’s really good control, but pressing the buttons can easily ram the earbud into your ear canal, which is painful. It is found that it’s better to grab the earbud and then press the button.
Professional headphones of all kinds are produced by Jabra. They frequently have solid construction, work with the Jabra Sound+ app, and enable multi-device pairing. Their call-focused headsets typically feature stronger microphones than other Bluetooth rivals, and some models are even among the best Jabra earbuds we’ve tested for making phone calls. When compared to passive noise isolation, their active features, including active noise cancellation, typically provide a minor improvement.
