The French hi-fi company Focal has just launched the Bathys, a pair of noise-canceling headphones that are named after the bathyscaphe, the first submarine exploration vessel, and associates the listener with the sense of calm, depth, and silence associated with it. Bathys offers high-fidelity sound wherever you go, as Focal’s first headphones to include active noise reduction. In its premium aluminum, and magnesium construction, the headphones offer Silent, Soft, or Transparency noise cancellation modes that can be enjoyed the entire day with 30 hours of battery life.

In addition to Bluetooth 5.1 technology, Focal’s headphones have a built-in DAC for 24-bit / 192kHz audio, a 4-ft jack cable, a 4-ft USB-C cable, and eight integrated microphones for easy use. The Bathys headphones can be purchased at Focal for $799 right now.
