Mobile gaming becomes more popular and, despite the reduction in the most famous problems, smartphones have long had full-fledged RPGs, adventures and shooters. The demand for sound is improving, and if it’s not just a pleasant accompaniment, now it’s becoming an important game factor. Moreover, the connectivity with a laptop does not work like a full-fledged gaming headset, but as you often use the telecommunications for the TV, more and more headphones are positioned to become console-based, – for example, the HIPER Cobra X9.

The headset is packaged in a compact pastel-colored box with a picture of an open case and an unattached earpiece, and a brief description of the particulars and characteristics of the sides and back.

In the lodgement is a thin white plastic with two compartments, one of which contains a case with inserted headphones. One of these cases consists of a replacement for the headphones and a USB Type A/ USB Type C charging cable. Everything’s covered in instructions.

The design is bold and aggressive, and the heptagonal case made of matte plastic with a stylized snake head (which in eu is called Cobra)., in which you can see the headphones, most of the flip-up lid is occupied by an dark-but transparent window.

The LEDs illuminate your head on the road. On the nose, there is also an LED tick which looks to the lid. The AC port on the right is the USB-C charging point.

The only colour available is black, but in the case and the headphones themselves, the LEDs on the case are shown in a black colour when charging and on the sample I got, respectively, yellow and red (after pairing they alternately flash red and blue).

The earbuds themselves weren’t quite all that thin in design for the TWS, with aggressive lines posing and pairing LEDs. They’re almost entirely made of matte plastic with an almost finished area near the ear pads and are securely held on magnetic contacts.

There are a few minor defects in the assembly, such as uneven gaps and small backlashes, but if you don’t look closely, they’re almost invisible.

You have to turn on the Bluetooth on the device, remove them from the case and find them in the detected device list. During the search, paired LEDs on the headphones flash red and blue alternately after connection and blue in 5 seconds. As usual, the headset is connecting with this headset automatically if you remove it from the case using the Bluetooth range.

Contrary to many other HIPER models, voice guidance can’t be assured, but headphones should be harmed with a simple motion. Touch control, the strangeness previously seen in the HIPER headsets with the dual dual-directional use of the left and right side to control the volume and switch the tracks has been eliminated.

The left side is now responsible for the future tracks and volume increase (two and three taps respectively), for the previous ones and the right side, in the same way. Don’t ask any questions about why and what else. Some headphones, like that, are still quiet or will stop the music and listen to one tap, or gives away calls. Making the speed of the touches is simply a draconian way to fix, however I did not really get the three-tail, even once, but 2 were just twice fixed in half the attempts. He should practice too much in general.

Please put the headphones in the case to charge. Red lights turn red on them, and green on the case itself. When charging is done, all of them will start going. The green LEDs blink when the battery is low. During the charging of the case they also blink, but after it has completed, they light up continuously. It takes about two hours to fully charge the case in full. There are no aforementioned tools for checking the charge level on request, which can be quite a bit confusing.

The headphones are firmly held in the ears, don’t fall out and don’t cause any discomfort, but as soon as they’re small, they can easily bulge slightly. These ear pads have different sizes of pads.

Even the most expensive TWS earphones must be versatile, because most of the time is used for listening to music and sometimes for voice calls. With the latter, we will expect to get more than usual sound, good volume level, full recognition by voice.

The sound of what was made from the Cobra album is clearly and good-looking, particularly given the budget segments. The bass is quite serious, not so common in cheap TWS. The volume is adequate, without any rattles and overloads a snug fit helps, but the lack of noise reduction makes itself felt, in the subway and on the street, external noises noticeably break through.

It was in the u.s. and around the clock that the test showed excellent sound and direction detection. In this case, I won the first race of PUBG, after a long break.

Genshin Impact and single-player games on the Switch, which usually I play, are much less critical to dynamic and spatial sound, but the music will be preferable to played with the headphones so that the music sets the right atmosphere. By definition, with the sound here, everything is the same as listening to music that is clear, high quality and a good volume, if nothing around is so noisy.

Any TWS headphones are famous for their latency if they are called games. Unfortunately, I didn’t fully think of the Cobra’s possibility, because, despite the support of the Bluetooth 5.2 headset itself, all of my gadgets now have maximum 5.1 usage. And even in these circumstances, the delay was noticeable, but even though there are a few dynamic shooters mentioned above, it was somewhat unacceptable. The transition to the new Bluetooth version will turn out to be much better.

These ears are strong and dust-resistant to the IP54 rating, which allows them to be used indoors, in light rain or in outdoor activities. Even though the construction is not perfect, the Cobra is not ready to test its load.

The declared total battery life, the maximum recharging time for this battery is 15 hours. To be fair, the case started getting caught up in a short delay just before one week of work, which is roughly two-to-three hours every day, as we walked back to and from work.

This headset possesses a unique aesthetic and colourful design that makes no sense for gaming. This headset is just the design of the design and the content on the screen. According to her, even though the old version of Bluetooth on smartphones and the Switch is still popular, the headset seems to be happy to clarify the direction and the need for a long time. The introduction of Bluetooth 5.2 will make things even better.

Playing aggressively, of course, not for everyone, but it was intended. And because of quality, the headphones are practically a nuisance. You can fully test their price, which traditionally is largely considered fairly democratic for HIPER: clear sound, decent volume and very autonomy. It’s quite possible to take up this, because of the impossibility of the touch controller and lack of noise – however, it’s not impossible to control it for up to two thousand rubles.

Battery life is very long.
